Prime Minister Imran Khan and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai have been named among the world's most beloved personalities during the year 2021.
This was stated by the online data compiler British firm YouGo.
The British data analytics firm, Yugovo, first collected nominations from 38 countries and territories and asked its panelists to name the person they like the most.The nominations were then compiled into two separate lists of 20 men and women, which were the most popular in at least four countries.
This year's rankings include investor Warren Buffett, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Chinese actresses Liu Yifi and Yang Mei in the Top Twenty, according to the firm's website.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan was ranked 17th on the list of most liked men, with Barack Obama, Bill Gates and Xi Jinping topping the list.
According to the website, "Pakistan's Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra's rankings have improved this year, and they have moved up five places to No. 9 and No. 10, respectively."
Yu Go added that the number of women providing entertainment was higher in the list of women, while on the other hand, in the ranking of men, people with political, business and sports background were prominent.
