Protein-containing corona vaccine approved in UAE

 The United Arab Emirates has approved the emergency use of cyanobacterium coronavirus vaccine, which will be available to the public as a booster dose in January next year.


According to the British news agency Reuters, the UAE Ministry of Health said in a statement issued on state media on Monday that the vaccine was provided by Group 42 of the UAE and China National Biotech Group, a unit of China National Pharmaceutical Group. It will be developed and distributed under the joint venture of CNBG.The Ministry of Health said in a statement that the vaccine was approved following a study of people living in the United Arab Emirates.

The study included individuals who had been given two doses of the inactivated cyanobacter vaccine.

It should be noted that 1732 new cases of corona virus were reported in the United Arab Emirates on Monday while one death was reported.

Officials say 91 percent of the population of about 10 million are fully vaccinated.
