A spokesman for the country's health ministry, Dr Muhammad al-Abd al-Ali, said the previous epidemic of corona would not be restored - there was no possibility of it.
Speaking on Rotana Khaleeja Channel's popular program 'Yahla', a spokesman for the Ministry of Health was commenting on patrols in Saudi society saying that 'the growing number of cases of corona is sounding alarm bells. And soon there will be a lockdown in the country.
Commenting on this, Dr. Al-Abd Al-Ali said that the lockdown situation in the country is unlikely. The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of people infected with the virus are people who have either not been vaccinated or are skipping the required doses and booster doses.
He added that in an environment where Saudi Arabia's large population has been vaccinated to strengthen the immune system, effective vaccines are plentiful. There is also the knowledge that taking the required doses of vaccine protects against the virus - vaccines do not spread the virus. In such a world, it is not possible for the epidemic to return.
Al-Abd al-Aali stressed that everyone should get the required food. Do not be negligent in taking second dose or booster dose.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health said, "Are we in an environment like March and April 2020 or have we come a long way in this regard?" "The reality on the ground is that we have achieved a lot," he added. Now there is awareness about the virus in our society and we know how to deal with it, how to stop it from spreading, we are not only aware of all these things but we are also acting on them.
Concluding his remarks, Al-Abd Al-Ali said that in the light of the above facts, a situation like the first stage of the epidemic could not come.
"It simply came to our notice then. Our children will also be vaccinated soon. Older, pregnant women and some careless elements are not getting vaccinated or getting the required dose due to fear or delusion - they will also be vaccinated soon and will complete the required dose.
