Omi Kroon's record cases 'new variants raise concerns'

Record cases of Corona have surfaced in the United States, Britain, France and Australia, while US President Joe Biden has announced that he will double the purchase of Pfizer pills used to treat Corona.

According to the French news agency AFP, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the growing number of cases of Omi Cron has raised fears of new and dangerous variants of the virus.

In a meeting with the Pandemic Response Team at the White House on Tuesday, President Biden said the order for the pills had been increased from 10 million to 20 million in the face of growing virus cases in the United States. On Tuesday, for the first time in Britain, the number of daily cases exceeded 200,000, with 50,000 reported in Australia and more than 270,000 reported in France, a record number. This is far less than the number of cases reported on the day, as 1,080,211 cases were reported that day, a world record.

The fast-changing Omi Cron variant is currently the fastest-growing variant, accounting for 59% of all cases reported at the end of the year in the United States.

With low mortality and hospital admissions due to omega krone around the world, it was hoped that it could turn into a seasonal disease, but the World Health Organization warns that the opposite is true. ۔

Catherine Smallwood, the World Health Organization's senior emergency officer, told AFP that "the more the omega-krone spreads, the faster it changes shape, making it possible for a new variant to emerge."

"Now that Omi Kroon is dying, it could lead to deaths that may be lower than in the Delta, but let's see what the next one does," he added.

A similar situation is being witnessed in the UK, where the government has said that a state of emergency has been declared in hospitals on Tuesday due to a shortage of staff.

After 218,724 cases surfaced in the UK in 24 hours, Prime Minister Boris Johns has vowed to fill staff shortages in troubled areas with the help of the army and medical volunteers.

Australia, which had successfully handled the cases, also broke the previous record of 47,738 cases in one day.
