According to US news website The Hill, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that a major conspiracy was being hatched to sabotage the Beijing Winter Olympics. The United States is bribing athletes participating in the Olympics on the condition that they show a dead heart in the sport.
China's state-run English newspaper, The Daily China, published a report citing unnamed sources claiming that the United States was buying athletes from different countries for the Beijing Winter Olympics and was demanding that they participate in the sport. Don't participate or show bad performances and criticize China's policies.
China has also said that the United States has promised to protect the players' reputation and compensate them for their behavior.
