North Korea has successfully tested a hypersonic missile.
The French news agency quoted North Korean state media on Thursday as saying that this was the first test of its kind by a nuclear-armed country.
According to the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA), the missile, which was equipped with hypersonic gliding weapons, was tested on Wednesday. He successfully hit his target 700 km away.This is the second test of a hypersonic gliding missile reported by North Korea. Hypersonic is considered to be the most advanced weapon in combat.
The KCNA added that Wednesday's test once confirmed the missile's flight capability, control and stability, while also examining the performance of hypersonic gliding weapons.
The agency added that the experiment also confirmed that the fuel ampoule system works even in winter.
On Wednesday, Seoul and Tokyo detected a suspected North Korean missile that fell into the sea off eastern Korea.
The United States has condemned North Korea's missile test and called on Pyongyang to return to talks.
