BEIJING: China has conditionally approved the import of Pfizer pills from the US pharmaceutical company to treat the global epidemic corona virus.
China's Drug Regulatory Authority has conditionally approved the import of Pfizer's pills. According to the National Medical Products Administration, the Pixlove pill is a combination of two antiviral drugs, nirmutrilevir and retonavir, given to adults with mild symptoms of the corona virus who are at risk of serious illness.
This medicine can be given to patients who are in old age or who have chronic kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease and chronic lung disease.
According to the administration, patients should take the medicine prescribed by the doctors and keep a close watch on the effects of the medicine.
Last month, Pfizer applied to Japanese authorities for approval of an antiviral drug in its pill form to treat Code 19.
Pfizer said last month that the results of clinical trials showed that within three days of the onset of symptoms, when two to four patients at high risk of being infected with the Paxlwood corona virus were given, they were admitted to the hospital. Or reduces the risk of death by 89%.
The company said that laboratory tests also showed that the drug could reduce the spread of the variable type of omecron.
