Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says more than half of the members of the Indian Lok Sabha have criminal records.
Addressing the Singapore Parliament, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said that today Nehru's India has become such that the record of half of the members of the Assembly is criminal. Cases of murder and rape have been registered against several members of the Assembly.
The Prime Minister of Singapore further said that India was initially a democracy but since then the situation has changed. Criminal and illegal activities turned a blind eye, which led to this.
