The world's largest strawberry, weighing ten ounces

Israel: Strawberries grown by an Israeli farmer weigh five times the average and weigh 280 grams (approximately 10 ounces).

A day ago, an Israeli farmer separated himself from the world's largest strawberry plant and wrote his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The strawberry that Ariel Chahi grows in his field is five times bigger than the traditional fruit. It weighs 10 ounces, or 289 grams. The Guinness Book of World Records has named it the world's heaviest and largest strawberry.

It is a local type of strawberry that was first grown by Nair Dye, a scientist at the Israeli Agricultural Research Institute. After studying strawberries, he said that due to the extreme cold of January and February, strawberries have been planted in large quantities, but one of them is of unusual size, which is a unique phenomenon.

He said that it has taken 45 days for its full development and it has grown slowly.
