A drone flying in a rainstorm with a robotic station

California: Ordinary drones falter in torrential rain and torrential rain. Now the M300RT drone not only flies from its own helipad-like docking station but also continues its smooth flight in heavy rain and snow.

The drone is manufactured to industry and air quality standards by DJI. It is completely waterproof which has been closed on all sides to protect the weather. The DJI said in a statement that its new drone model could easily operate in heavy rains, high altitudes, storms, snow and hail, as well as minus 20 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius.

Protected from dust and water, the drone has an IP45 rating, with analysts saying that many drones are of a higher standard, but it is the most prominent and best of the folding drones. Once charged, it can fly continuously for 41 minutes.

Another important aspect is the robotic drone in-a-box as it has a docking station with the drone which makes its flight fully automatic. This box is small enough to fit in a double cabin car seat. The docking station has a small meteorological station, cameras are installed, antennae and its battery charges quickly in 25 minutes. It stays in contact with the drone for a distance of seven kilometers.

However, despite all its features, it cannot be flown in the United States where pilots fly. Despite all this, its automated system is excellent and efficient.
