Action against Chinese mobile applications in India again, ban on popular game 'Free Fire'

In India, 54 mobile applications, mostly from China, have been blocked for security reasons.

There were reports in India on Monday that various Chinese mobile applications would be blocked.

According to Reuters news agency, government sources said on Tuesday that 54 mobile applications, most of them Chinese applications, including the popular game "Free Fire" had been blocked due to security concerns.

Indian officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but C-Limited, the owner of the game, did not immediately respond.

This is not the first time that Chinese applications have been blocked in India. Several such apps have been banned before.
