Concerns about the possible removal of the Revolutionary Guards from the US blacklist began to grow

Concerns have been raised about the possible removal of Iran's Revolutionary Guards from the blacklist of terrorist organizations by the United States.

According to Arab News, the removal of the Revolutionary Guards from the list is part of the revival of the nuclear deal.

The Revolutionary Guards have been under US sanctions since 2007 and have been listed as a global terrorist organization, while in 2017 the Revolutionary Guards Force was designated a foreign terrorist organization.

Former US President Donald Trump said at the time that the Revolutionary Guards were the main source of the Iranian government's terrorist campaign.

The Revolutionary Guards also run a business empire in Iran and control the forces responsible for terrorist acts around the world.

Analysts believe that the United States is currently planning to remove the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorists.

The issue has been considered the most troubling of the 2015 nuclear deal talks.

In a joint statement, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and his foreign minister expressed concern over any possible move, saying it would be strongly opposed by the Gulf states and Israel.

He further added that "the attempt to remove the Revolutionary Guards from terrorist organizations is an insult to the victims who have been targeted, and despite the evidence, a documentary fact will be ignored."

"It is difficult for us to believe that the Revolutionary Guards will be removed from the list because they promise not to harm the Americans," he said. The United States will not abandon its allies on empty promises of terrorism.
