The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has changed its ban on corona virus, stating that those in direct contact with epidemic patients will have to undergo PCR tests on the first and seventh day, as this is the time when the disease spreads. The symptoms appear.
According to Arab News, the regulation, which came into force on Friday, was issued by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with health officials.
Similarly, NCEMA and ICP have also announced that all passengers entering the UAE by land will not be required to undergo PCR test before arrival.
However, they will be required to undergo Rapid Exponential Deep Examination (EDE) and will not be allowed to enter until the result is known.
The regulation announced by the government will apply to both vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers.
The NCEMA and ICP urge residents and expatriates to adhere to the Green Pass Protocol when entering public places such as malls, tourist attractions or other events.
This change in regulation is part of the UAE government's strategy to protect the public from the Corona epidemic.
The health ministry said on Friday that 375,579 tests had been performed on Corona in the past 24 hours.
The UAE's state-run news agency WAM quoted the health ministry as saying that "the total number of victims has reached 889,452 since the new cases."
"In the last 24 hours, 882 people have recovered," the statement said. The number of recoveries has risen to 862,730.
