A Qatar Airways flight from the Indian capital Delhi to Doha made an emergency landing at Karachi Airport. In case the alarm sounded from the cargo of the plane, the pilot decided to land the plane at Karachi airport.
According to the spokesman of Civil Aviation, the plane was inspected after the passengers on board safely landed at Karachi Airport but no fault was found in the plane. As a precaution, another plane was arranged to take the passengers to their destination.
A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority said the flight from Delhi to Doha was made an emergency landing at Karachi airport on Monday. Alarm sounded from the cargo of the plane after which the pilot decided to land the plane at Karachi airport.
The plane was allowed to land at Karachi Airport after fulfilling all the protocols for emergency landing. The Qatar Airways plane is currently at Karachi Airport.
All passengers have been safely disembarked. Another plane has been arranged to take the passengers to the destination. Hopefully by noon another plane will take passengers to their destination. The next flight will be decided only after a detailed inspection of the aircraft.
