For the first time, plastic particles were discovered in human blood

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands: Scientists have long warned of the horrific dangers of plastic contamination, and for the first time, thin, microscopic plastic particles have been discovered in the blood that is nothing short of a nightmare.

In this experiment, microscopic plastic was found in the blood of 80% of the participants. Its effects on human health have not yet been studied, but in the laboratory these particles have been found to damage human cells. For this reason, experts believe that these particles running in the blood can affect human organs, but still detailed research is needed.

Experts say that we have dumped plastic in land, oceans, deserts and fields, which does not dissolve in thousands of years, but continues to dissolve into fine particles due to friction and breakage, even before human waste. Plastic has been discovered.

Dick Whithan, a professor at the University of Wrexham in the Netherlands, and his colleagues recruited 22 healthy people, 17 of whom were found to have plastic in their bodies that belonged to ordinary bottles. One-third found polystyrene in packaging plastics. Similarly, particles coming out of shopping bags were also seen in some people.

It should be noted that plastic has been found in the blood here. However, Professor Dick said that in the next phase, the types and sizes of plastic particles will be considered by including a large number of people. The meter has been viewed. Two types of plastics have been found in some blood samples and three in others.

The most important question is what effect it can have on humans. It is also important to know how long they can stay in the body and whether they are reaching other organs. That is why long research is needed on this issue.
