Moscow: Russia has announced a temporary ceasefire in two humanitarian cities in Ukraine.
According to foreign media, a statement issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that a temporary ceasefire is being maintained in the two humanitarian cities of Mariupol and Volvolokha.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the ceasefire in Mariupol and Volvolokha was aimed at facilitating the evacuation of civilians. No military action will be taken during the evacuation of civilians.
The mayor of Mariupol, Vadim Boychenko, called for a humanitarian ceasefire during the Russian military offensive and blockade.
