Salman Khan sues journalist over abuse

Mumbai: Bollywood actresses have been issued court summons for abusing a journalist.

Salo Mian and court cases go hand in hand. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who faced several court cases in 1998, including a black deer poaching case, is facing another legal battle.

The Indian News Agency reported on Tuesday that Salman Khan had allegedly insulted journalist Ashok Pandey, prompting Mumbai's Andheri Magistrate's Court to issue summons to the actor.

According to the summons issued by the magistrate court, Salu Mian has been summoned to court on April 5 in a case filed by a journalist in 2019. A case has been registered against Salman Khan under sections 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

On the other hand, the Rajasthan High Court on Monday allowed the transfer of two petitions in the black deer poaching case against Salman Khan from the Jodhpur District and Sessions Court. A hearing against the actor is already pending.

According to reports, Salman Khan had filed a petition in the High Court seeking transfer of the two petitions to the High Court so that the three cases could be heard in one place.
