Brussels: NATO says 7,000 to 15,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in a month in a Russian offensive in Ukraine.
A statement from NATO said that a month after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, 7,000 to 15,000 Russian troops had been killed and hundreds wounded.
Russia announced in March that it had killed 500 of its troops, but did not release any figures.
Ukraine's president confirmed the deaths of 13 Soviet soldiers two weeks ago.
Russian journalists were killed in a Russian bombing in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
In response to the US expulsion of Russian diplomats, Russia has announced the expulsion of several US diplomats, but did not say how many US diplomats would be deported.
