Condemning the attack on Ukraine, international payment companies MasterCard and Visa also announced the closure of their operations in Russia.
According to foreign media, many international organizations have announced sanctions against Russia in protest of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, while MasterCard and Visa have also announced their decision to suspend operations in Russia.
Global payment companies MasterCard and Visa have announced that they will completely cut off transactions with Russia in the coming days, after which the cards issued for Russia will no longer work in other countries. Issued in other countries will run in Russia.
The move was made at the request of Ukrainian President Zelensky.
