Where will the longest and shortest fast be?

 Astronomically, in most countries, Ramadan begins on April 2, and Eid al-Fitr is expected on May 1.

According to the lesson website, the duration of fasting varies due to the geographical location of different countries.

It is interesting to know which countries have the longest fasting period and which countries have the shortest.


New Zealand has the shortest duration in the world where the fast will be 11 hours and 20 minutes.

It will be 11 hours 30 minutes in Chile, 11 hours 47 minutes in Australia, 11 hours 48 minutes in Uruguay and 11 hours 52 minutes in South Africa.

Iceland tops the list of countries where residents will have the longest fast in the world with a fast of 19 hours and 59 minutes.

The fast will be 19 hours 57 minutes in Grandland, 19 hours 9 minutes in Finland, 18 hours 58 minutes in Sweden and 18 hours 30 minutes in Poland.
