Indian bowler Yuzwinder Chahal has revealed that during the 2013 Indian Premier League, a drunken teammate hung him from the balcony of the 15th floor of the hotel.
According to the French news agency AFP, the incident took place during an event when league sniper Yuzwinder Chahal was playing for the Mumbai Indians.
On Friday, Yuzwinder Chahal mentioned the incident to him during an interview with sniper Ravi Chandran Ashon.
He has also played 61 ODIs.
Earlier, at the start of his career in 2011, Yuzwinder Chahal had accused his Mumbai teammates of harassment.
In a video shared on IPL team Rajasthan Royals' Twitter account, the 31-year-old bowler said, "There was a player who was very drunk. I will not name it. He was so drunk, he called me and took me out and then hung me from the balcony. '
"He tightened his grip around the player's neck and would have fallen off the 15th floor if he had made even a minor mistake," he said.
Yuzwinder Chahal's life was saved by the people in the hotel at that time.
"There were a lot of people in the hotel, they took care of the situation. It was as if I had fainted. They gave me water. Then I realized how responsible you should be if you go somewhere. "
In a podcast earlier this year, Yuzwinder Chahal alleged that in 2011 his then Mumbai teammates James Franklin and Andrew Symonds tied him up, taped his face and left him in the room.
