Getting rid of daily blood pressure medication, one injection will suffice

London: Millions of people around the world take medication on a daily basis to control their blood pressure. Now, after the success of Phase Two trial, one injection can eliminate the need for it.

In the UK, Queen Mary University and Barts Health Company have developed an injection for people with persistent high blood pressure that will eliminate the need to take daily medication. One dose of injection will suffice for six months, no less than any revolution. It is expected to be widely available in 2025 if all goes well.

It has been dubbed the Beasley Blender and has previously been linked to another cholesterol-lowering vaccine. We know that long-term patients with high blood pressure must take one pill daily, in which ACE inhibitors are common.

Xylitol bacilli are being tested on 630 patients worldwide, with 100 patients being studied in the UK. This research will continue for another three years. It will look at the importance of injections and any possible side effects. If all goes well, then the vaccine will be approved.

Blood pressure is the cause of many diseases, including stroke, kidney disease and heart disease. One-third of adults in the UK alone are affected. In Pakistan too, a large portion of the population suffers from high blood pressure.

Dr Manish Saxena, head of the study, said he was happy to announce the injection. He hopes that this will help in the treatment of high blood pressure and save millions of lives. He said that Zyle Besirin is a kind of RNA interference drug. In our liver, a protein called therapeutic targeting angiotensinogen (AGT) does this and keeps blood pressure normal.

Zyle Bacillus is a skin injection that increases AGT production and normalizes blood circulation by dilating blood vessels.
