Riyadh: The Saudi Press Agency has claimed that 38 million people have bought tickets at the box office in the four years since the cinema was set up.

The Saudi government has licensed 56 theaters in 20 cities with 518 screens installed, showing 1,144 films in four years, including 22 Saudi films.
The agency says the total number of cinema ticket buyers in the last four years is more than 38.6 million, while the films aired were in 38 countries in 22 languages.
The revival of cinema in Saudi Arabia has created more than 4,000 jobs for men and women, and more jobs are expected.
