Washington: The United States says Iran has the capability to build a nuclear weapon in a matter of weeks.
White House spokeswoman Jane Sackie said in a statement that Iran could develop a nuclear weapon in a matter of weeks. Iran now needs a few weeks, not a year, to develop a nuclear weapon.
The spokesman added that the situation was "definitely a matter of concern and concern" for the United States. The Trump administration pulled out of the nuclear deal with the world powers after which Iran has accelerated its nuclear program.
He added that Iran must take a diplomatic approach to prevent any aggressive progress on nuclear weapons and to resolve the issue.
