A case has been registered under Sections 504 (intentional insult with intent to incite to breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), 34 (joint intent to commit a crime).

Ganesh Acharya's assistant said that he was informed about the entry of charge sheet. However, Ganesh Acharya has not yet commented on the latest proceedings in the case. In the past, Ganesh Acharya has denied all these allegations against him. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture and that his confession had been obtained through torture.

When an FIR was lodged against Ganesh Acharya in 2020, his legal team had filed a defamation suit against the complainant female dancer.

The report further states that the fellow dancer had accused him of harassing Ganesh Acharya after he denied having sex with him. The dancer also accused Ganesh Acharya of making obscene comments, showing pornographic films and tampering with them.

According to the complainant, in 2019, Ganesh had asked her to have sex with him if she wanted to succeed in the industry. But the female dancer refused, and six months later the Indian Film and Television Choreographers Association terminated her membership.

The female dancer even claimed that in a meeting in 2020, the choreographer allegedly abused her and assaulted her aides.
