Mobile phone use does not cause brain tumors, research says

Oxford: Extensive 20-year research in the UK has revealed that there is no link between mobile phone use and developing a tumor in the brain.

It should be noted that for the past several years, there has been a flurry of "information" circulating on the Internet in general and on social media in particular, stating that the use of mobile phones can lead to brain tumors and even brain cancer.

A study by the US government's National Toxicology Program (NTP) found some evidence of animal cancer from radiation emitted from mobile phones, but the research was technically weak and controversial. ۔

The International Agency for Research on Cancer and Oxford University in the UK conducted a joint study, which looked at 20-year data on mobile phone use and brain tumors in more than 776,000 British women. Is.

Two aspects of the mobile phone were taken into consideration for the purpose of analysis. First: Talk on mobile for at least 20 minutes throughout the week; And second: mobile phone use for at least ten years.

Even after detailed and careful analysis, no connection was found between the brain tumors and the electromagnetic radiation emitted from the mobile phone.

Note: Full details of this research and its findings are published online in the latest issue of the "Journal of the National Cancer Institute".
