Russia has eased sanctions on the Corona virus and announced the resumption of air operations with 52 "friendly countries", including Pakistan.
According to Reuters, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mustang said on Monday that Russia intends to lift restrictions on flights to 52 countries after April 9.
The Russian prime minister has said he will resume flights with Argentina, South Africa and other "friendly countries".
Other countries include Algeria, China, Lebanon, Peru and Pakistan, according to the Corona Virus Task Force.
"Friendly countries are those that have not joined the latest wave of Western sanctions since the invasion of Ukraine," he said.
Moscow invaded Ukraine on February 24 and called it a "special operation."
In March 2020, Russia imposed travel bans on the Corona virus.
Russia has closed its airspace to 36 countries, including 27 in the European Union, in response to Western sanctions.
Measures against Russia by Western powers have forced European companies to terminate lease agreements with Russian airlines for more than 500 aircraft.
Russian Airlines will not be able to purchase aircraft parts or use other services from Europe or the United States after the sanctions were imposed.
