Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has announced that it will allow one million people to perform Hajj this year.
According to a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, one million pilgrims will be able to perform Hajj this year.
This year, people under the age of 65 will be allowed to perform the Hajj, while pilgrims will have to be vaccinated with the corona vaccine approved by the Saudi government.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah further said that all pilgrims must submit a negative report of the PCR test conducted 72 hours before departure to Saudi Arabia.
According to official figures, 58,745 pilgrims performed the Hajj last year. Before the corona virus, the number of pilgrims exceeded 2 million.
