The moon of Ramadan has appeared in Saudi Arabia

 Riyadh: The month of Ramadan has been observed in Saudi Arabia, after which the first fast will be observed on Saturday, April 2 in the Gulf countries.


According to Saudi media, the moon of Ramadan was seen in Houtha Sadir area of ​​Saudi Arabia while evidence of moon sighting was also received in Tamir.

The meeting of the Hilal Committee in Saudi Arabia was chaired by astronomers from the University of Al-Majma'ah.


Earlier, a Saudi astronomer had predicted that the sighting of the Ramadan moon would be strong in all Arab countries on Saturday.


In addition, the first fast will be observed on April 2 in Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, USA, Australia, Russia and New Zealand.


On the other hand, the month of Ramadan has not been observed in Malaysia and Indonesia and the first fast in these countries will be on April 3.


It should be noted that the month of Ramadan will be observed in Pakistan tomorrow.
