Washington: Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has said that the United States has a healthy military-to-military relationship with the Pakistani armed forces and we expect that this relationship will continue.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told a news conference that Pakistan recognizes Pakistan's key role in the region and its sacrifices in the war on terror, according to the Associated Press. The Pakistani people themselves have fallen victim to terrorism in their own country.
John Kirby added that the United States shared its interests with Pakistan for security and stability in the region.
