Washington - The United States and the European Union have announced further sanctions on Russia over war crimes in Ukraine.
According to foreign media, the United States is considering taking action against the two daughters of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia's largest bank.
White House spokeswoman Jane Sackie said more sanctions would be imposed on more Russian financial institutions, new investments and Russian government officials and their families.
According to EU officials, new sanctions could be imposed, including barring Russian ships from using EU ports.
The bodies of more than 400 people were found in a mass grave in a Russian-occupied area near the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Ukraine's president says Russia is committing genocide and war crimes in Ukraine.
