Warning! Excessive use of Viagra can blind you

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Excessive use of Viagra and Cialis, a male enhancement drug, could lead to vision loss and eventually blindness, experts warn.

Previous research has shown that Viagra's risk to vision may be mild, but new research suggests that this risk has not been properly understood. Experts have even said that there is a need to write a special warning on the "blue men's pill" Viagra.

Viagra Hoya Cialis, both inhibit PDE5, a well-known enzyme found in the blood vessels. Medications spread them and increase blood flow. This increases blood flow to various parts of the body, especially the male organ, and maintains stability. In addition, these drugs have been shown to be useful in high blood pressure.

In 2005, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) called for warning words to be written on Viagra, Levitra and Cialis. The reason given was that their drug causes a condition called ischemic optic neuropathy (ION) which can severely affect vision.

The latest study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), looked at a total of 200,000 men who had been using Viagra, Cialis, Standra and Le Vitra for years. But there was no such thing as a general visual impairment. However, when these individuals were compared to their peers but not using the drug, they were found to have an increased risk of retinal detachment (SRD) and retinal vascular excision (RVO). When combined with high blood pressure, the risk was found to be even higher.

Thus, we can say that drugs that keep the penis erect can increase the risk of conditions like ROV and SRD. In other words, the risk of SRD can be two and a half times higher in people who take Viagra than others and the risk of SRD can be up to one and a half times. Thus, these drugs can increase the risk of vision loss by up to 85%.

Much research remains to be done, but it is thought that these drugs may cause a decrease in blood flow to the delicate veins of the eye. If this condition persists for many years, it can lead to eye diseases mentioned above.

Although scientists have said that the risk of eye infections from drugs like Viagra is still very low, but when millions of men around the world are using it, a warning must be given. There may be some people who already have SRD and ROV, and medications can make the condition worse.

He also told men taking Viagra to see a doctor immediately if they notice any impairment in their eyesight as a condition called retinal detachment can be very dangerous which can lead to loss of vision.
