Kuwait's Interior Ministry has seized an Iranian ship carrying 240 tonnes of diesel that was being smuggled.
According to Arab News, Kuwait's Interior Ministry says that Kuwait has seized the ship in its territorial waters.
Qaim Al Arabiya TV in Dubai reported on Saturday that the Iranian crew of the ship had been detained.
The report said that the crew of the Iranian ship was buying the fuel from some other small ships at a fixed price.
The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry also said that further investigations are underway to uncover the diesel smuggling incident.
