New Delhi: Hindu extremist leader Raj Thackeray has threatened to abide by the May 3 deadline to remove loudspeakers from mosques in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district.
According to Indian media reports, Raj Thackeray, the leader of the Norman Sena (MNS) in Aurangabad, while addressing the rally, threatened the Muslims, saying, “After the May 3 deadline for removing loudspeakers from mosques. I will not be held responsible for what happens. " He said that from May 4, loudspeakers would be installed in front of all Hindu mosques and Hanuman Chalisa would be recited in double voice.
Raj Thackeray said that if Muslims do not understand well then we will show them the power of Maharashtra, loudspeaker noise is not a religious but a social issue. Loudspeakers are illegal in mosques.

He said that there is a concert in mosques in which so many loudspeakers are being used. He said that if the government of Uttar Pradesh can remove the loudspeaker then who is stopping the government of Maharashtra from doing so.
Earlier in the day, Raj Thackeray had warned that Eid was on the 3rd. If the loudspeakers are not removed by then, Hanuman Chalisa will be played everywhere. He said that it does not matter if there is a case against me, if Muslims have to offer prayers, they should offer prayers at home and not on the streets.
