NEWA: A new study has revealed that tall stature can cause you to increase the risk of nerve, skin and some cardiovascular diseases. This research is one of the largest research done to find a relationship between height and diseases.
The results conducted at the University of Colorado in the United States revealed that height could be used as a factor to diagnose a particular disease.
Thousands of genetic variables are determined by environmental factors. In the previous research, an attempt was made to assess the height of any person at the genetic level, using only genes, which had a relationship with about 50 diseases.
In this study, Shri Dharan Raghavan and his colleagues of the University of Colorado analyzed the data of 330,793 former US soldiers.
These soldiers were involved in a research program that saw the relationship between jeans, environmental factors and diseases.
The team inspected 3290 genetic variables that were known to be stature and are known to be related to more than 1000 clinical properties. This thing confirms that being genetically tall can cause your heartbeat speed and blood circulation problems may arise.
Researchers also learned that the long stature of the genes suggests that in such a case, the nerve damage and the risk of skin and bone infections could also be faced.
Later, the team confirmed that all of this situation had the same relationship with the genuine measurement of the participants, which was seen in the genetic inspection. This means that one can easily be told about the presence of a disease.
