TEHRAN: Hussein Tayyab, the head of the intelligence agency in Iran, was retired.
According to foreign media, Hussein Tayyab, the head of Iran's intelligence agency, has been removed from the post. The Iranian intelligence agency's protection unit will be replaced by Mohammad Kazmi Hussain Tayyab.
Iranian officials say Hussein Tayyab, the former head of the intelligence agency, will perform the duties of the adviser of the Revolutionary Revolution, Inchef Hussain Salimi.
According to reports, Hussein Tayyab has been removed from office after the assassination of key figures in Iran. Those killed in the past include Colonel Ali Ismail Zada, a member of the Iranian Aerospace Division and commander of the External Operations Unit of the Revolutionary Revolution. Iran says Israel is involved in the killing of these individuals.
