According to the British media, 20 people were killed by lightning in eight districts of the Indian state of Bihar. The Indian Disaster Management Authority has predicted more rain with thunder in the southern states of the country.
The Chief Minister of Bihar has instructed the people to be careful after the weather conditions and lightning incidents. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there has been an increase in lightning incidents from 1995 to 2014.
