The UAE-based Abu Dhabi Company has said that the number of passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport has increased due to Eid-ul-Adha and summer holidays.
According to Al-Emarat Al-Youm, Mutarat Abu Dhabi Company said in a statement that 2.8 million people will travel from Abu Dhabi International Airport during July and August this year, of which 4,14,7 will travel during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays from July 7 to 15.
"Tourism is booming and consumer confidence is recovering after the code crisis," said Frances Borian, executive chairman of commercial affairs at the Abu Dhabi company.
It may be recalled that 5.26 million passengers traveled from UAE Abu Dhabi International Airport during 2021.
During 2021, the top five cities were Cairo, Islamabad, New Delhi, Lahore and Dhaka.
