The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that according to 1 Muharram 1444 AH from 30 July 2022, Umrah permit and booking can be done through Atimrana.
According to Ugwal, Lesson and Newspaper 24, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that Umrah pilgrims will be able to perform Umrah with ease and comfort. All required facilities will be provided for the visitors. Facilitation of issuance and booking of Umrah permit through Atimrana app is a part of this strategy.

Umrah permits will be issued depending on the capacity of Masjid al-Haram through the Itimrana app. Visitors will be given several options while making a booking.
Various instructions are also being offered regarding entry into Masjid Al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi through the Atmarna app.
Umrah and Pilgrimage permits and bookings can be made by Saudi citizens and resident foreigners through the Atimrana app. Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council and foreigners residing there will also get the same facility.
The ministry has pointed out that the booking for Umrah permit is based on the capacity in Haram Sharif, if the green color is visible, it means that there is moderate crowding. Red color indicates heavy rush while orange color indicates average rush and gray color indicates no more booking capacity in Haram Sharif.
