New Delhi: An Indian Air Force fighter jet crashed in Rajasthan during a training flight, killing both the pilots on board the plane. According to Indian media, an Indian Air Force MiG-21 fighter jet crashed in Barmer district of Rajasthan on Thursday night, as a result of which two pilots were killed.
The aircraft took off on a training flight from Rajasthan's Uttaralai Airbase at 9:10 pm and crashed shortly after near Bimda village in Barmer district.
According to Indian media, as soon as the MiG-21 hit the ground, there was a loud explosion and the plane caught fire.
As soon as the accident was reported, the police and rescue personnel reached the scene and started the rescue operation, on the other hand, the Indian Air Force has started the investigation of the plane crash.
