According to international news agencies, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, speaking at a ceremony for veterans, said that the adversaries accuse us of bringing the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war, but with the United States and South Korea. Addressing veterans participating in a ceremony marking the 69th anniversary of the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, Kim Jong-un said that our forces are always on the alert to face any possible untoward situation, and we have our Nuclear deterrents can be mobilized at high speed according to their mission.

Kim Jong-un has called South Korean President Yoon Seok-yul a confrontationist, saying he is more confrontational than past South Korean leaders. He accused the US of targeting North Korea to justify its hostile policies.
