'Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality', Saudi crown prince's visit to France complete

 Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has sent a cable of thanks to French President Emmanuel Macron after his official visit to Paris.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the crown prince said in a cable to the French president on Friday morning, "I thank you for your warm welcome as I leave your friendly country." It gives me great pleasure to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the hospitality you have shown me and the delegation.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that the bilateral talks have emphasized the mutual desire to expand the strategic partnership between the two countries.

He said that in the talks, emphasis was placed on continuing coordination and consultation in all sectors to achieve the interests of the two countries and the people and to promote security and stability in the region.

The crown prince arrived in Paris on Thursday and was received by Emmanuel McEwan at the Elysée Palace, where a wide range of issues were discussed during a meeting chaired by the French president and the crown prince.

The French President also hosted a banquet for Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his delegation at the end of the day.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman also met with the Director General of UNESCO and discussed Saudi cultural initiatives and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.
