5G technology will be provided in Pakistan next year, Federal Minister

 Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Technology Syed Aminul Haq has said that 5G technology will be provided in Pakistan next year.

He expressed these views while talking to Eko Nielsen, Head of Global Customer of Ericsson, a prominent IT technology company, who came for a meeting.

Aminul Haq said that there are vast opportunities for investment in the IT and telecom sector in Pakistan, women empowerment, connectivity and providing training to the youth in important areas of IT are the top priorities of the government.

He said that the preparations for providing the modern and fastest data transfer technology 5G to the citizens in Pakistan are complete, the demand environment is being created at the local level, 5G will be launched in the country next year.


On this occasion, the officials of Ericsson Company, Echo Nelson, said that the plans of the Ministry of IT and Telecom are commendable, Ericsson Company will provide high training and employment to 40 fresh IT graduates, men and women. To express solidarity with Pakistanis on the occasion of th anniversary.
