A suicide attack in Kabul, the main leader of the Afghan Taliban was killed

 Kabul: Rahimullah Haqqani, Director of Afghan Madrasas, was killed in a suicide bombing in a Kabul madrasa.

According to foreign media, a suicide blast took place in a seminary in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, as a result of which Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani, a prominent religious scholar of the Taliban and the director of Afghan seminaries, was killed.

Taliban officials say the attacker must have lost one of his legs in an earlier attack, as the attacker had hidden explosives in his prosthetic leg.

Taliban officials say that no group has yet claimed responsibility for the suicide attack, and the final death toll from the blast cannot yet be estimated.

The Taliban say that the death of Sheikh Rahim Haqqani is a big loss for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
