Apple's decision to increase advertising to increase revenue

California: Technology giant Apple is likely to increase advertising in its iPhone's first-party apps to increase revenue.

According to the report of the international news organization, currently the company is earning 4 billion dollars annually in terms of advertising, but the company wishes to increase this single digit to double digits.

The Apple company is already showing ads in some apps like Apple News and Stocks. It also recently announced an increase in advertising in the App Store.

The news agency reported that the company is exploring ways to add ads to apps like Apple Maps. According to the report, Apple is also likely to increase advertising in podcasts and bookstores.

Meanwhile, Apple is targeting companies that show ads to iPhone users.

Last year, Apple released an update to iPhones that included a new pop-up that asked users if they allowed apps on their phone to show them ads.

A privacy feature called App Tracking Transparency overturned many behind-the-scenes mobile advertising systems, particularly those that verified whether an app had been downloaded or sold.

It's clear that the feature has caused major problems for companies ranging from Snap to Facebook.
