Black Day is being celebrated in Occupied Kashmir on India's Independence Day

 Srinagar: On the occasion of India's 75th Black Day, Black Day is being celebrated in Occupied Kashmir today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control and around the world are celebrating India's Independence Day as a Black Day today.

A complete strike and civil curfew is in force today in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which was called by the All-Party Hurriyat Conference and supported by all Hurriyat leaders and organizations.

Hurriyat leader Abdul Hameed Lone has said in one of his statements that Indian forces have completely turned Srinagar into a military cantonment. By celebrating Black Day, they have to tell India and the world that Kashmiris have not recognized India.

He said that black flags are being hoisted in Occupied Kashmir, while people around the world are holding rallies and demonstrations against the serious violations of human rights by the occupying forces of India so that the world's attention is drawn to the Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
