According to media reports, a certain section is opposing the actor based on an interview he gave in 2015 in which Aamir had said that intolerance has grown in India.

The report said that a trend of "Boycott Lal Singh Chadha" was started on the social networking site Twitter.

Aamir Khan gave his reaction and said that some people think that I don't like India and this is a wrong idea, I love my country.
