Domestic workers from Indonesia allowed to enter the country

 The Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare has said that permission has been given to bring domestic workers from Indonesia to Saudi Arabia.

According to Akaz newspaper, the Deputy Minister of Manpower and Social Welfare, Dr. Abdullah Abuthanin, has signed an agreement with Indonesia's Minister of Manpower, Aida Fauzia, to restore the arrival of Indonesian domestic workers.

Recruiting agencies and companies can now hire domestic workers from Indonesia.

The agreement was signed in the Indonesian island of Bali. Secretary International Affairs Dr. Adnan Al Naeem, representatives of the Ministry's technical team, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health were also present on this occasion.

The new agreement with Indonesia is part of the policy of the Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare, under which the process of bringing in domestic workers from Indonesia has been decided through only one channel. This decision has been taken to facilitate the process of bringing workers and to ensure the protection of the rights of employers and employees.
