In the second quarter of the current financial year, the national budget surplus of 77.9 billion riyals

 The Saudi Ministry of Finance has announced the surplus national budget for the second quarter of the current financial year. During the second quarter, the national budget was 77.9 billion riyals surplus.

  According to Sabak News, the Ministry of Finance has released the figures related to the expenditure and income of the second quarter as part of the new tradition of budgeting.

The Ministry of Finance has said that the total income during the second quarter of the current financial year was 370.3 billion Rials. This includes oil revenue of 250 billion riyals.

In the second quarter, an income of 120 billion riyals was generated from sources other than oil. In addition, 10.2 billion riyals were received from tax and capital gains, while 64 billion riyals were collected as goods and services tax and 19 billion riyals were received from other sources.

During the second quarter of 2022, the income of the national budget of Saudi Arabia from other sources is 20.2 billion riyals.

During the first half of 2022, there was an income of 135 billion Rials. They include 57.5 billion Rials of the first quarter and 77.9 billion Rials of the second quarter.

Total revenue increased by 43% in the first half of 2022. The income was 648.3 billion Rials, while in the first half of 2021, the Saudi national budget had an income of 452.8 billion Rials.

In the second quarter of this year, the total expenditure was 292.4 billion Rials, while in the first quarter of 2021, the total expenditure was 292.45 billion Rials.

During the first six months of 2022, the volume of Saudi national budget expenditures reached 512.9 billion riyals, while the total expenditures during the first half of 2021 were 464.9 billion riyals. This year the volume of expenditure is 10% more than last year.
