Increase in prices of consumer goods in Saudi Arabia

 In Saudi Arabia, the prices of consumer goods have increased and inflation has been observed.

According to Al Arabiya, consumer goods prices have increased by 2.3 percent in June and 2.7 percent in July.

The Saudi Department of Statistics has said that "the prices of food and beverages have increased by 3.9% and the price of transport by 2.3%".

The department has said that 'prices of food items have been affected due to rising prices of meat and poultry'.

A general increase in the prices of food items is being seen in the country due to a 5.1 percent increase in the prices of meat and poultry.

The department has said that the main reason for the increase in transport prices is the 4.2% increase in vehicle prices.
